Wolfwalkers — The best animated film of the year is this bit of Irish folklore about a girl who wants to hunt wolves but finds herself joining a magical pack.

Ammonite — Kate Winslet is a stern, lonely 1800s paleontologist who falls for a young wife (Saoirse Ronan) in this passionate romance/drama.

Fatman — Mel Gibson (!) plays Santa, who finds himself being stalked by an assassin (Walton Goggins) after a disappointed kid puts out a hit in this black comedy.

The Climb — Two buddies see their friendship change over the years in ways both good and bad in this relationship dramedy.

New On Digital/Demand:
Jungleland — Charlie Hunnam and Jack O’Connell play brawling brothers trying to scrape past the law and the mob in this 1970-style boxing story.

New on Disc:
Bill and Ted Face the Music — They’re old and they’re back! The party-hardy duo from the ‘80s returns as middle-aged losers earning one last shot to save the universe.
