Wicket World of Croquet moves to new location for one time only
Sunshine on your face, food and drink at the ready, and your best friends gathered on the lawn at 2021’s peak society event, the Wicket World of Croquet. This is an annual signature soiree of the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, scheduled for Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m at the White River State Park for one year only to allow for more physical distancing.
Whitney Ball, special events & marketing manager for Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site joined us today with all the details. Here’s more from her:
Proceeds from the event help to educate more than 18,000 children annually. You may register your team of two here, which includes entrance into the tournament, the use of fine equipment, drinks from Sun King Brewery, lunch and more.
Don’t want to play, but want to stay? Register for a Porch Party ticket here to receive drinks and lunch and the chance to hang with friends without the pressure of the competition.
Croquet was popularized in the U.S. by the East Coast literati and the West Coast glitterati, so be sure to dress to impress in your game whites for this exclusive event. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed participants.
Advance registration is required. This is a rain or shine event, and it will be COVID-19 compliant.
