New dog park opening at Monon 30
Animal lovers of Indianapolis, mark your calendars for April 29th! Monon 30, with Molly Kruger Sanford as the Director of Events & Promotions, is hosting a 3-in-1 event featuring the Animal Adoption Party, Market at the Monon, and the Grand Opening of the Monon 30 Dog Park!
The Animal Adoption Party, sponsored by Noah’s Animal Clinic and in partnership with Indy Humane and Indy Animal Care Services, will feature adoptable dogs and cats.
Adoptions will be free, but donations are encouraged. Elaine Thiel, Event Coordinator for Indy Humane, will be bringing along a dog and items for display, such as kitten pate, pill pockets, and easy walk harnesses.
The Market at the Monon will showcase over 60 local vendors with a variety of handcrafted goods. Come support your favorite small businesses and find unique treasures.
The Grand Opening of the Monon 30 Dog Park is a cause for celebration, and all are welcome to enjoy the festivities. There will be food trucks, beverages, and DJ Skidz providing entertainment.
This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Come out, enjoy the fun, and maybe even find a furry friend to take home. Don’t forget to bring donations of cheese wiz, soft treats, canned kitten food, and more to help support the animals in need.
