ReEntry Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (REDi) hosts first All-Star Pitch Night

The Re-Entry Entrepreneurship Development Initiative is a program that provides business training to justice-involved individuals, and so far, it’s proving to be successful!

REDi is a program of the Business Ownership Initiative (BOI), powered by the Indy Chamber, that provides over 10,000 hours of business coaching and over $400,000 in lending capital across the Indianapolis region each year.

Carlette Duffy, deputy director of programs and management for the city of Indianapolis, joined us today along with Neil Metzger, REDi program manager, to share more about their programs and upcoming first-ever All-Star Pitch Night.

At this event, five former REDi Pitch Night Finalists will pitch their businesses.

REDi provides a five-week training course and one on one coaching for justice-involved individuals. It’s helped launch 35 businesses.

The training course is a foundational course that teaches things like cash flow, market research, and customer relations.
